Tree Care Solutions, Advice and Links
Things
to watch out for at this time of the year:
- Dieback and deadwood in the crown of the
tree.
- Leaves: discolouration, distortion, dwarfing,
chewed leaves, if deciduous late or early to fall and dying
evergreen foliage.
- Black patches, peeling or cracking bark
on the trunk or branches.
- Evidence in insect eggs clustered on foliage,
trunk or branches.
- Hanging branches from storm damage.
- Signs of cracks in limbs.
- Excessive epicormic (or water) shoots on
trunk and in crown.
If you see any of these signs call Arbor Pride
and one of our skilled arborists can discuss these concerns with
you.
